London Adventure #1

Hello, everyone!

It’s been a long time since I published a post. (Nearly 2 weeks and I miss writing) Yesterday I came to London for a language school to develop my English. I met 2 friendly girls who are from Bulgaria and Hungary. I’m happy to have friends because before I came to this summer school, I was nervous to be lonely. Anyways, in this blog post, I’ll introduce one of my favorite places in London and take Y’all in a little tour.

P.S: I’m planning to write posts about London like a little series. So stay tuned!

HARRODS

If you’ve been to London, I’m sure that you’ve heard about Harrods. Harrods is a luxury department store located in Knightsbridge. I’ve been to Harrods 2 times and I think it’s a must to see it. I love the building and the brands in the store. Just a tip: you may want to save money for shopping in Harrods because it’s not cheap. But ı think you don’t have to buy anything from there. You can just walk around and have a meal at the food hall which is pretty fascinating.

NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM

Natural History Museum is a museum that exhibits a vast range of specimens from various segments of natural history. It is located in Kensington and you can easily go there by tube. South Kensington station is just front of the museum so I think it’s easy to access. I’ve been to Natural History Museum in 2013 and I only remembered the section with volcanoes because the entrance is so interesting. One of my favorite things is the earthquake simulator which I think a good experience is. You can learn so many information about human’ history too! In my opinion, NHM is a great museum for everybody who is interested in geography and human’ history. I love this museum and I can go there again and again 🙂

THORPE PARK (CHERSTEY/ENGLAND)

I’ve been to Thorpe Park in 2015 and it was a good experience for me. I really like this theme park because of its atmosphere. There are so many things to do! You can ride on rollercoasters or if you don’t want to (like me) you can spend your time by playing chance games. I played a game with ducks and it was pretty fun. There are so many options for food and I think it’s a good advantage. For me, you should visit Thorpe Park if you’re in England because it is the biggest theme park in Europe.

Stay tuned!

  3. Hi Sima, thanks for sharing your London experience so far. I live in London, and the places you’ve listed are some of my favourite places too.

I haven’t been to Harrods since I was a kid and I’ve been thinking about going there again soon. As it’s really pricey to shop there, I like your idea of having a meal in the food hall. That’s still a really nice Harrods experience.
